Bitcoin Value Surpasses $100

The value of a single bitcoin surpassed $100 on Monday, according to VentureBeat. The virtual currency traded at $104.50 per unit at its peak on Mt. Gox, the largest bitcoin exchange. Bitcoin traded at just $15 as recently as January but has been on a steady rise over the past three months.
