Western Union, TIBCO Partner For Data Push

Western Union, a money transfer services company, has signed a new partnership with infrastructure provider TIBCO. According to a press release, Western Union will use TIBCO’s event processing platform to better leverage its existing customer data.

    Western Union’s goals are to harness this information to anticipate consumer trends and improve customer engagement. The company estimates it processes 231 million consumer-to-consumer transactions and 432 million business payments annually.
