Uber, the mobile app that connects passengers to taxis, is testing its services in the South Korean capital Seoul, according to TechCrunch.

    Uber kicked off its test run with celebrity football player Koo Ja-cheol taking the inaugural ride in the city’s famous Gangnam district. The company expects to spend a few weeks testing the service with a limited number of cars before a full-scale rollout begins.
