    Participating American, European and Australian consumers said they felt most comfortable sharing data with doctors, banks and retailers, with 90 percent, 76 percent and 70 percent reporting this sentiment, respectively.

    Europeans were the most cautions of data mining, though worldwide opinions on the practice were mixed. Globally, 39 percent said they felt data mining was invasive, while 35 percent said it was helpful.
