IBM’s latest digital insights report has revealed that Christmas Day shoppers preferred Apple’s iOS to Google’s Android operating system for holiday purchasing, a press release revealed on December 26.
iOS drove 23 percent of total online sales on Christmas Day, a figure that was more than five times greater than the 4.6 percent observed for Android.

Further, iOS users spent more than Android users, logging average orders of $93.94 compared to the $48.10 per order observed from Android users.
