Mozido, an m-POS firm, has been present in Mexico, since 2012. It rolled out its solution in 80 firms in Yucatán and it expects to reach 500 soon and 2k by 2015. The platform allows for mobile phones top-ups, service payments and payment card transactions. Mozido works with all banks and telcos.
Raúl Ávila, General Director of Mozido Mexico said: “Shops are growing their sales by nearly 15% by adding e-services sales such as top ups, debit and credit card acceptance and service payments with Mozido”
