Payments credit union service organization (CUSO) PSCU announced Tuesday (Aug. 3) that 4Front Credit Union (4Front) had joined its cooperative for credit and debit card processing services and contact center support.
Northern Michigan-based 4Front has assets north of $830 million and more than 92,000 members.
“In looking for credit, debit and contact center services, 4Front was seeking a true partner committed to its success that would work collaboratively to ensure the credit union provides the best card and card-related services to its membership,” PSCU said in a news release.
Zach Eychaner, senior vice president of remote services and technology at 4Front, said PSCU met the company’s needs and provided the right technology and service portfolio.
PSCU began providing contact center services for 4Front members in the second quarter of this year, and will begin providing credit card support in the second quarter of 2022, before adding debit card services in next year’s third quarter.

PSCU supports the services of more than 1,500 credit unions and handles more than 5.4 billion transactions each year.
4Front is among three credit unions to join the PSCU cooperative. As PYMNTS reported in May, the Together Credit Union of St. Louis, which has more than $2 billion in assets, would become part of the cooperative for “full-service credit and debit card processing support and services.”

In March, PSCU said it would begin credit processing support for the Credit Union of Texas. PSCU had already been providing debit services to this credit union.
