Deal Site Competitor NoMoreRack Generates $42M In 2012’s First Half

A new competitor in the deal site space — otherwise populated by firms like Fab.com and Rue La La — says it generated $42 million in revenues in the first half of 2012, according to TechCrunch.

    NoMoreRack expects to surpass the $100 million in revenue mark for the full year — and has not yet sought financial backing from equity investors. In contrast, Fab has raised more than $51 million, and Rue La La has raised $22 million.

    In contrast to many of the other sites in the so-called “flash deal” space, NoMoreRack offers discounts on items that are already competitively priced. Sites like Rue La La tend to sell more luxury goods.
