NFC Tram Stops Installed In Finland

A trial is taking place in Helsinki, Finland, where NFC technology was installed at 211 tram stops in the city. The NFC tags allow passengers to both purchase tickets and share their thought on a social network. The pilot is a joint venture of the Helsinki Region Transport, Nokia, Metro newspaper and Forum Virium Helsinki.
