The inventor of a 3-D printed firearm, Cody Wilson, has announced that he is raising funds via Indiegogo for a bitcoin wallet venture, according to an October 31 report from The Verge.

    Known as Dark Wallet, the service would allow users to avoid certain types of government surveillance. In an email to The Verge, Wilson said that new encryption methods would be at the heart of the initiative.
