Apple Maps Takes Responsibility For U.S. EMV Roadmap Design

    “Our customers expect the best from Apple and from its products and applications. Unfortunately, the U.S. EMV Roadmap provides another example of our Maps platform failing to meet expectations,” said CEO Tim Cook.

    As of March 2013, users report conflicting routes and varying distance estimations when searching EMV Roadmap through any iOS Maps application.

    “We hope to resolve this issue before the EMV deadline hits in April 2013. Or October 2015. Or October 2017,” Cook said. “Well, whatever, you get the point.”
