Mt. Gox Sues CoinLab For $5.3M

Japan-based bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox has filed a countersuit against Washington-based online gaming service CoinLab over $5.3 million in customer funds it says were not returned, Finextra reported on September 17.

    In the suit, Mt. Gox argues that CoinLab was at fault for the souring of the relationship. CoinLab originally filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against Mt. Gox in May for $75. CoinLab has alleged that Mt. Gox failed to outsource its operations in North America as agreed.
