Payleven Begins Accepting Visa Cards With Chip & PIN Reader

Payleven has begun to accept Visa cards in Europe thank to its new chip & PIN reader, the company announced on Friday. Payleven, iZettle and other European “Square-like” companies had been unable to accept Visa cards thanks to the issuer’s insistence on using a PIN, not an electronic signature, to verify a transaction.
