RBS, NatWest Roll Out Mobile SMS-Based P2P Service

RBS and NatWest have begun trials for a mobile payments service allowing customers to send money to Visa cardholders with U.K. phone numbers, reports Finextra.

    Users transfer funds by entering a recipient’s phone number, which sends a text message directing that person to a website to collect their money via card information entry. The service will have a £100 limit and should begin a full launch around Easter.
