BNDES to use Brazilian Payment System this summer

Brazilian Development Bank BNDES will start using Brazilian Payment System by end of June. For this reason it will discontinue intermediation of third parties. This change will bring better customer services and more efficiency according to the bank. All accounts held at third parties will be closed. Direct credits will be replaced by boletos, bar-coded instruments that allow payments in banks and kiosks. Suppliers of the bank will be able to generate their own PDF boletos online, with the pre-approval of the bank.
