A new app is promising to save small business owners a trip to the ATM to cash checks with its e-Checks that allow users to send, receive and approve, check payments using their iPhones.
Powered by VerifyValid, the Deluxe Mobile Checkbook app provides a secured mobile payment channel to process e-checks, maintain digital payment history, and correspond remittance data for fast and well-organized records. The recipient receives a legally valid check that can be cashed just like a conventional paper check, according to company’s press release.

technological trends,” said Senior Vice President Malcolm McRoberts of small business services at Deluxe Corporation.
The Mobile Checkbook is an extension to eChecks, a product the company launched in 2013, which enabled users to write and receive checks online using VerifyValid that used a virtual lockbox and deposit capture system to process payments. Using the same technology, the company has extended its services to iOS devices.
