    “The Federal Council on April 2, 2014 decided not to introduce the EU sanctions on the territory of Switzerland. However, we will take steps to prevent the circumvention of these sanctions through Switzerland,” reads a statement of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO).

    Last month, the US and the EU published a “black list” of Russian and Crimean officials for sanctions.
