Miley Cyrus Becomes Creative Adviser To Hims & Hers

Miley Cyrus has joined telehealth platform Hims & Hers as a creative adviser, according to an announcement.

“In this new advisory role, I hope to work closely with the company and introduce my fans to an easier, more personalized skincare journey,” the multi-platinum selling recording artist said in the announcement.

Cyrus will work with the firm on the Hers collection of prescription skincare items, starting with new marketing campaigns in addition to social content.

“We’re thrilled to have Miley, who is an incredibly outspoken and passionate businesswoman in her own right, supporting our efforts to bring personalized skincare to a larger audience,” Co-Founder and CEO Andrew Dudum said in the announcement.

Hims & Hers recently started trading on the New York Stock Exchange. The company provides solutions for primary care-related issues in addition to skincare, hair loss, sexual wellness and mental health. Its present medical skincare offerings encompass complementary telehealth consultations “with licensed medical professionals,” according to the announcement.

Hers provides prescription skincare products that have ingredients like niacinamide, zinc pyrithione, azelaic acid, clindamycin and tretinoin in “beautiful, easy-to-use packaging for a low monthly cost,” according to the announcement.

Hims & Hers was started by Dudum, Jack Abraham, Hilary Coles, and Joe Spector at venture studio Atomic in California.

The news comes as Hims & Hers also recently teamed with Alex Rodriguez to roll out a new skincare solution developed particularly for men called The Blur Stick, according to an announcement in May. The product contains high-end ingredients such as aloe extract and jojoba oil, while it comes in a “sleek, travel-friendly tube,” according to the announcement.

“Since I met the Hims & Hers team, it was clear to me that they were revolutionizing telehealth and direct-to-consumer products,” Rodriguez, CEO & Chairman of A-Rod Corp. and investor in Hims & Hers, said in the announcement. “Like other Hims & Hers products, accessibility and convenience were central to the development of the Blur Stick.”
