The new financing includes a $350 million variable funding note (VFN) facility and a $175 million asset-backed securitization (ABS), the company said in a Thursday (July 16) press release.
The transactions refinance Forward Financing’s existing warehouse facility and, with the company’s inaugural ABS issuance completed in December, bring its funding capacity to nearly $700 million, according to the release.

The transactions also reflect institutional investors’ confidence in the company’s portfolio and business model, Forward Financing Chief Financial Officer Christopher Chiou said in the release.
“These transactions diversify our funding sources, strengthen our balance sheet and provide a scalable capital foundation to support our continued growth,” Chiou said.
