New Data Shows Main Street Businesses Rebuilding For Post-Pandemic Economy It may not feel like it at the moment, but small- and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) across the country are positioning themselves on the road to recovery. The latest Main Street Index, a PYMNTS and Melio collaboration, and reflecting over 2.5 million data points, shows first quarter business outlooks were 19 percentage points above the worst days of the pandemic.
