Expedia Treks to Top of PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Travel Apps

Expedia knocks Airbnb and Booking.com down this month, giving Hotels.com, Hopper and TripAdvisor room to shake up the top five. Here’s where the apps land after experiencing turbulence.

The Top 5

Taking over the No. 1 spot is Expedia, scoring 93 and knocking out Airbnb and Booking.com.

Hotels.com is up four rankings and lands at No. 2 with a score of 88.

Down two rankings is Airbnb at No. 3, scoring 84.

No. 4 remains unchanged with Hopper scoring 83, two points higher than last month.

TripAdvisor, scoring 82, jumps from the lower section to No. 5.

The Top 10

Vrbo is down one ranking and lands at No. 6 with a score of 78.

At No. 7 and scoring 73 is KAYAK.

Booking.com falls seven rankings to land at No. 8 with a score of 72.

No. 9 goes to Skyscanner, scoring 69 after falling six spots.

Closing out the top 10 with a score of 66 is AllTrails.
