Square has hired former PayPal exec Alex Petrov as its new vice president of partnerships, the company announced in a press release yesterday. Square says Petrov will focus on driving “strategic business development and customer acquisition” at Square.
Petrov previously served as VP of retail marketing at PayPal, and also has experience as VP of consumer brands at Safeway.
