Waitrose Launches Visa Easy Payment Services In U.A.E.

Waitrose is planning to implement Visa’s Visa Easy Payments Services (VEPS) throughout all Waitrose and Spinneys stores in the U.A.E., reports CPI Financial. Visa debit and credit card holders will be able to swipe their card at the POS without having to enter a pin or provide signature for transactions worth AED 100 or less. The service is expected to roll out next month at Spinney stores in the country. The VEPS will help to mitigate waiting times and increase small transaction speeds.
