Deem Streamlines Travel Data Into Infor’s T&E Portal

Deem, a corporate travel management company, is partnering with Infor, the companies said Wednesday (March 7).

Infor, which develops cloud applications designed for specific verticals, will integrate Deem’s travel booking solution into its existing travel and expense (T&E) management tool and automate data from the Deem Work Fource platform into Infor’s Expense Management portal.

Companies whose employees book travel on Work Fource can automate the flow of expense data into existing expense reporting software, the firms explained. Deem’s tool enables businesses to manage travel spend from the start of the booking process and to ensure compliance to corporate travel policy.

“Our goal is to revolutionize business travel and eliminate the headaches and hassles of conventional travel software,” said Deem President and Chief Operating Officer John F. Rizzo in a statement, who added that the collaboration with Infor is facilitated by Deem’s Fource Alliance Program.

“By working with leading organizations such as Deem, Infor is able to drive overall business performance for customers more effectively,” said Infor Vice President and General Manager Mark Corsetti in another statement. “Infor is committed to ensuring that its customers have the most innovative applications and premier experiences with its solutions, and we will continue to seek new ways and partnerships in which to drive value for them.”

Last year, Deem announced an API to launch Deem Open Expense, which enables its customers to integrate Deem’s travel booking solution with other expense management platforms like the one offered by Infor.

“There’s no reason companies have to make a decision — customers can choose their travel platform and then pick an expense tool of choice,” said Rizzo in an interview with PYMNTS last May. “They’re able to have a choice on their T&E tools regardless of whether they come from a single vendor.”
