Revel Systems, a California-based iPad POS software provider for restaurants and retail outlets, announced that it has raised $10.1 million in Series B funding, TechCrunch reports.

    The capital comes from two Asia-based private investors, former Hungry Jack CEO Tim Tighe and entrepreneur Sean Tomlinson.

    Revel said it would use the funds to open up new offices in Asia and Australia, increase its staff by 50 percent and purchase a West Coast distribution center.
