Barclays announced a partnership with Safaricom, the mobile phone service provider in Kenya, to launch a mobile banking service that allows corporate customers to make bulk payments, reported All Africa. Clients can make payments such as salaries, dividend payments, per diem allowances and pension payments to beneficiaries—all by using a mobile phone.
