CFPB Alters Remittance Rules

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) released an update of its small business guide for electronic money transfers rule in an August 8 blog post. It said the revised version reflects upcoming changes to remittance regulations that will take effect October 28.

    The CFPB also announced that it would make a technical correction to a past amendment on the regulation that was put into effect this May.
