Ohio-headquartered retail chain Macy’s has announced it is offering 25 percent discounts to customers who donate $5 to charity using their mobile phones, Mobile Commerce Daily reported. The discount is part of its eighth annual Shop for a Cause event.
To claim the reward, customers need to donate via SMS message. Discounts can then be redeemed on August 24. The cost of the donation will be added to the sender’s phone bill.
