Visa Shakes Up Digital Wallet Leadership

According to the post, Bill Gajda will move from his role as head of mobile products to a new position as head of strategic partnerships. Sam Shrauger, formerly head of commercialization, will now serve as head of digital for developed markets.

As AllThingsD notes, Shruager, who has previous experience at PayPal and Yahoo, will oversee the V.me digital wallet program in his new role.

UPDATE: Visa claimed to issue the release in response to an exclusive NFC Times piece that reported Gajda and Jennifer Schulz were leaving Visa, among other executive changes. NFC Times has since issued an update to its piece standing by the accuracy of its story.
