Javier is the founding partner of Ockham Economic Consulting. He has participated in the analysis of more than 3,000 mergers and acquisitions, more than 4,300 bidding and privatization procedures, more than 240 investigations into monopolistic practices, as well as in the issuance of various opinions on laws, regulations and competition conditions.
He is a lecturer on economic competition at national and international level. He has provided advice to companies and governments both in Mexico and abroad. He has a solid academic background with studies in economics and specializations in world-renowned institutions. He was Commissioner of the (COFECE) Federal Economic Competition Commission, the Mexican antitrust agency.
