Mona Birjandi earned her Ph.D. in economics from Yale University and holds a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University. Prior to joining Data for Decisions, Mona served as a Principal Economist at Petco, and as an Economist at Analysis Group. Her expertise lies in applying microeconomics, econometrics, and data analysis techniques to address complex business challenges and in employing modern data science and machine learning methods to estimate econometric and predictive models on large-scale multidimensional data. Energetic, insightful and personable, Mona is a great addition to the labor practice.
