    The company has reported more than 6 million downloads for its branded app, the use of which has accounted for 35 percent of its $2 billion in digital sales worldwide. Dirk Rients of DDB, a global marketing firm, suggested that convenience is driving this consumer trend.

    “Domino’s, Pizza Hut and Papa John’s are making significant investments in digital and mobile, making it easier for their customers to place and track orders,” he said. “In my mind Domino’s is utilizing mobile better than their competitors.”
