    The “5% Cashback Bonus” is eligible for those who make payments using their Discover cards at movie theaters, restaurants and other entertainment-focused businesses. Cardholders may earn up up to $1,500 in cash back when making qualified purchases through March 31, the company said in a Jan. 15 press release.

    “At Discover, it’s important to offer our cardmembers Cashback Bonus for the things they shop for every day,” Brian Meier, Discover director of rewards marketing, said in a statement. “Dining out and going to the movies are popular activities for our cardmembers battling cabin fever at this time of year, and they can now earn 5% Cashback Bonus on those purchases.”
