Seated App Users Can Now Earn Lyft Credit

Users who book a meal through the reservation app Seated can also earn credits toward the ridesharing service Lyft.

Customers can simply download the Seated app and put in the promo code “LYFTxSEATED.” After paying for the meal with a linked card, or uploading a photo of the receipt to verify payment, a reward code will be delivered digitally in the app up to 48 hours after each successful reservation.

An additional $10 in Lyft credit is also available for first-time Seated users. Additionally, the app offers $10 to $50 in rewards from Starbucks and Amazon.

“We are thrilled to kick off an exclusive partnership with Lyft to make restaurant discovery easier and more rewarding,” said a statement on Seated’s website. “Seated is the mobile app that helps you discover the best restaurants in your city and gives you a $10-50 reward for every meal booked. Lyft is now the exclusive rideshare partner on Seated, which means you can earn Lyft credit every time you book a meal with Seated.”

Throughout the partnership, $1 million worth of ride credit will be given within Seated’s markets: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Denver, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and San Francisco.

The new offer is aimed to give both companies exposure to new clients. For its part, Lyft provided 375.5 million rides in 2017, up 130 percent year-over-year. The company provided rides to a total of 23 million different passengers, which is a 92 percent jump from the prior year. The company had 1.4 million drivers at the end of 2017, up 100 percent from the end of 2016.

Earlier this year, Lyft also announced it was expanding its Concierge service, which it rolled out with select partners in 2017, to businesses of all sizes. The service makes it easy for companies to offer courtesy rides to customers, clients and employees.
