Amtrak to Begin Accepting Tickets via iPhones

In a move bringing mobile commerce and transit systems closer together, Amtrak says it is set to begin accepting tickets presented via iPhone this summer, according to the Verge.

    Amtrak has been testing the system since November, the report says, and will be in use by roughly 1,700 conductors by the end of the summer.
