Clear2Pay To Test Belgium’s Readiness For SEPA

Clear2Pay has been chosen by Bacnontact Mistercash – Belgium’s debit card scheme owner – to test the implementation of the card scheme’s infrastructure. After careful examination, the shareholders of Bancontact/Mister Cash decided, in February last year, to adapt their payment system to these European standards whereby installing a new, SEPA compliant switch. The aim is that the infrastructure will be ready to accept new players by mid 2013.
