Dubai Consumer ePay, mPay Usage Spikes

ePay, the online payments service made available to Dubai consumers for the payment of government fees, has seen a 21 percent rise in the volume of payments collected compared to the previous year, media outlet khaleejtimes.com reports. The Dubai e-government authority also allows consumers to pay their government fees online via their mobile devices. In the January and June 2012 interval, over 15,000 transactions were carried out via its mobile payment gateway mPay.
