European Banking Authority Raises Concerns Regarding Banking Union

Andrea Enria, head of the European Banking Authority (EBA), has raised concerns regarding the banking union proposed by the European Commission, which would see the European Central Bank supervising banks in the euro zone. Enria echoed the views of European banks not on the euro zone, which fear they will be left out disadvantaged by the creation of the union.
