Green Dot Lands Prepaid Partnership With Kmart

    The new Halogen Reloadable Prepaid MasterCard will be available at all Kmart stores nationwide. Kmart started 2012 with 1,305 locations in 49 states.

    Green Dot’s stock price appreciated by more than two percent on Tuesday following the news. The company’s market capitalization is now slightly above $850 million.
