Kellogg’s has launched a pop-up shop in London where consumers can buy the brand’s new treats with a tweet. Here’s how it works: People who go into the shop get to try the Cracker Crisps and if they want to take some away, they spread the word via Twitter about what they are up to.
Recommended tweets featured on the “Tweet Menu” include: Special K has gone savory! 3 flavours to try – sea salt and balsamic vinegar, sweet chili, sour cream and chive #tweetshop #spons. According to TheNextWeb.com, The first tweet “is the one where they can track who tweeted and the second is making sure they don’t upset the Advertising Standards Authority which likes to see clearly when Tweets have been sponsored.”
