    Even before he was President Obama’s controversial recess appointment pick to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Richard Cordray had lots of experience answering tough questions from prominent public figures. The former Ohio AG was once a contestant on the popular TV game show, “Jeopardy!”

    Cordray won $45,000 and got through the first round of the Tournament of Champions, according to PBS. Watch in the clip below host Alex Trebek grill a young Cordray in 1987.
