53% Of Consumers Say YouTube Influenced Purchases

More than half of consumers in the U.S. have been influenced to make a purchase after watching a video on YouTube, Business Insider reported on December 11.

    In total, 53 percent of consumers interviewed for a survey by Walker Sands said that the video-sharing website had an impact on whether or not they bought an advertised item.

    The report also showed that 17 percent of consumers have been influenced by what they see on Pinterest.
