Banco Sabadell Adds ATM, P2P Features To Mobile App

Spanish bank Banco Sabadell has updated its mobile app to allow customers to withdraw cash from ATMs via their mobile phone, reported Finextra. Customers can request the desired amount for withdrawal on the Banco Sabadell app. They will be sent a text message with a code, which must be entered into the ATM to complete the transaction.

Banks in the UK offer a similar feature, but Banco Sabadell has added a twist. The service will also allow customers to send codes via mobile to second parties, which essentially makes it a person-to-person payments system.
