Chase Customers Cut Off By Cyber Attacks

Some JPMorgan Chase customers were unable to access their online accounts earlier this week thanks to a series of denial-of-service attacks against Chase’s system, according to BankCreditNews.com.

    Chase claims that no customer data had been compromised and that ATM, mobile and telephone networks remained active during the attacks.

    The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters group is believed to have carried out the attack. The al-Qassam Cyber Fighters carried out an extensive series of attacks on U.S. banks in 2012.
