Coinbase Sells $1 Million Bitcoins In Past Month

Coinbase, an online platform for buying and selling bitcoins, has announced that its users have bought and sold more than $1 million in worth of the currency in the past month.

    “There’s an incredible amount of demand for people who want to buy Bitcoins now,” Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong told VentureBeat. “The pace of going from $0 to $1 million was staggering.”

    According to Armstrong, Coinbase currently has 40,000 users and does over 30,000 transactions per month.
