Commerce giant eBay has updated its RedLaser App for iOS with store partnerships and more local deals, TechCrunch reports.

    Users can access deals via a local deals tab, with many deals coming directly from stores themselves, rather than through a third-party partner such as the previously acquired RetailMeNot.

    The update also gives stores the ability to create profile pages within the app, allowing shoppers to scan for deals, maps, coupons and more from one location.
