A new social marketplace will connect residents with local mechanics, according to an October 28 report from TechCrunch.
Openbay, which was founded in early 2012, has both traditional and mobile web functionality. Users can post messages about their auto problems, specifying their location and the urgency of the repairs. Mechanics use the network to see local messages and reply to owner requests for service.
