PayPal Announces Asia-Pacific Seller Protection

California-based online lending provider PayPal revealed that it will expand its seller protection policy for merchants in Asia-Pacific markets, a September 3 press release indicated.

Starting on October 11, PayPal will provide eligible merchants in 13 Asia-Pacific countries with access to the expanded program.

“Protection is yet another way in which we’re working closely with our merchants, to help them accelerate their sales while managing their risk,” Rohan Mahadevan, PayPal’s Asia Pacific vice president, said in a statement. “This will empower online businesses to capitalize on the multi-billion-dollar cross-border trade opportunity in Asia’s fast growing economy.”
