Piano Media Provides Metered Payment For Subscriptions In Slovakia

Piano Media, a European subscription-based content payment system for media publishers, has teamed up with three media partners to roll out the Piano Solo digital metered subscription payments across four websites, reports WAN-IFRA. The three media publishers will use the subscription payment meter to release new content online. The system will allow for the content to be locked, but will let readers access a few articles before being asked to pay before accessing more media.

Oliver Brunovsky, managing director at Trend Holdings, said, “We believe our content will attract new customers. The metered paywall has the potential to move the paid content market a big step forward. It’s an opportunity we don’t want to miss.”
