Square COO Keith Rabois has resigned from his position with sources citing “disagreements” with founder Jack Dorsey as part of the reason for his departure, according to an All Things D report.

    Rabois has helped to lead Square through two years of incredible growth and has also worked at startups such as PayPal and Slide, and serves on Yelp’s board. Neither Rabois nor Square gave a specific reason for Square’s No. 2 exec’s departure, although Rabois hinted that he already has a new role lined up in a statement.

    Sarah Friar, who was recently hired as Square’s CFO, will serve as the company’s acting COO.
